Perhaps you should include Powerbook 550c under the "Coolness Factor" This Japanese edition of Powerbook 500 series has full 68040, 10.4" active matrix color screen, more storage AND a cool black case. Goodluck finding one... I got mine from a Japanese auction site. I own both 550c and 540c with PPC upgrade. I even have a version c PC card module. Using wireless network under System 7.6.1 is a lot of fun. |

The Performa 575 was a Mac I got to use with my Apple color printer, the first one they produced with canon's inkjet technology. It was a marvel to use when they were fast.. go System 7!

The Powermac 8500 was one of my favorites! I used a PPC 6500 and loved it as well. I used it with the Mac Triniton AV display and Apple's first ergo keyboard.. talk about a cool setup! On my wishlist were the black Apple TV, the Anniversary Ed. Mac, the 840AV 68k Mac, the original IIfx fully loaded and finally the 8600 and 9600 PowerMacs. Oh, and of couse the original small Powerbook, the PB2400c, CPU, memory and keyboard upgraded, that would have been the Mac dream machine right there! Did love my PB1400c and 3400c though :-D
