Thanks for the report, Syntho! I could identify the issue and hopefully fixed it. Can you confirm profiles show up fine now?

Non-S7T related: I tried adding a bookmark to Netscape for the Mac Garden site. The page gives me an error when visiting. I discovered that you MUST have www. before macintoshgarden.org for it to show up. When I visit the site, it takes the www away. Well, I added a bookmark of it which took it away and thus gives me the error, but when I edited the bookmark to include the www. part before it, it still isn't working. It's only when it has the full www.macintoshgarden.org typed in the location bar does it work.∞

Really strange, Syntho. I never put in www on any of my machines and it works just fine. Need to investigate :)

Try it in Netscape 4.8.

EDIT: http://images.macintosh.garden/2021/02/18/Picture21.jpg

Funny, it works in the address bar without www, so the culprit is just Netscape's bookmarks.w

Another tweak I'd like to see is that when posting, below the very box I'm typing in now has a link to the mac garden image hosting page. Make that open in a new tab/window so that we won't lose what we typed :)

Have accessed the garden from my 5500 and SE/30 a few times today, only using macintoshgarden.org without the www. Worked fine every time. Tried it again just now with the 5500 in NS 4.8 and it works fine.

Need to investigate. Might be some DNS issues across the pond. I

Can't do that without javascript which in turn breaks a lot of stuff and slows down the site. The best I can do it add a notification that you could use Command+Click on the link to open it in a new window/tab ;)

Ohhh ok. Images open in a new window when you click so I took it for granted that a page would too.

PS: see my edited post above with the picture.p

Also, another thing: do you see how after we post it adds some weird characters? Mine added a P and yours an I last time.

Let's see if it does it again. I will not type a single character after I hit the period key, right now.p

Fixed it! Forgot there was a HTML link tag attribute I could use. No JavaScript and it works in Netscape as well :).

Yeah, but only in Netscape 4.8 for some reason. Going bug hunting in the future.

Noticed the random char as well. Tough one to pinpoint but will comb through the source to see if we can find it. For now, see it as a status symbol that you belong to the System 7 elite! ;-)

Getting the error 400 on the Macintosh Garden as well with NS4.8 btw. I'll pass it on to fogwraith, who's the mastermind behind the Mac Garden. Don't think it's related to www but it rather comes up on the first request attempt. Just try again and it comes up correctly.

The login should be kept on Netscape now :)

Had to bake some cookies for our Macs? :) I'll test it out and post later tonight after I shut down for a while.
