Avatars are implemented, it’s just the control panel that’s missing at the moment. It’s on list of stuff to do. Soon

So, just wanted post a quick update on a Goodies section on S7T - it's definitely coming and I thank everyone for their input! I've started working on it, but it'll likely take some more time until I feel it is ready. After all, I'm handpicking (and checking) the content, verify on my 8600 that all works fine. (nothing more disheartening like finding cool stuff only to realize it has been zipped on OSX and lost its resource forks ...) So it is on its way, just give me some more weeks. If someone else would like to join in testing stuff like patterns, DAs, startup screens and stuff, drop me a line. (the only requirement is that you'll seriously test this stuff on System 7 - be it emulation or real) :-)

So this is very early but I started working on a "Goodies" section for System 7 Today. Only a few categories for the start but I hope to make some progress and expand it soon. (I could need a helping hand testing the stuff / doing quality control, really. Anyone?) In case someone wants to take a peek: http://www.system7today.com/goodies

If you want, I could put together a collection of my Touhou wallpapers (of which I have many) for you to look through and select some to put into a collection for posting on the site
