Hey Peeps! So... I've been working on an addition to the two mac emulators in the title. I have added HDD/pc sound effects! This gives both emulators a more realistic feel. It also has made the hard drive timing more acurate to the 68k era. Im still slightly tweaking, so stay tuned! |

Thanks Bolkonski! I have already bookmarked some of those sites! Prince of Persia probably could use its own thread. I have already had my fair share of falls into spikes! The only real annoyance is searching for the right potion letter when you start the game. Happy Macing! |

Welcome! I'm Doug, also new to the forum. I also use sheeshaver and BasiliskII for mac os 8 and 9. The performa im writing this on has OS 7.5.1. The emulators are pretty nice and work great, but there is just something about using an old machine. The keyboard and mouse, the whir of the fan, the click of the HD. It would be awesome if they could add those effects to the emulators! Happy Macing! |

Thats awesome Knezzen! Why not post on a forum for vintage with vintage right? Sure you could use an emulator, but it looses the feel knowing its not a fully working vintage mac. Mac forums, and sowftware archives are the only thing ill be using the net for on here. On a side note... I have been playing through Prince of Persia. Very interesting old game! Happy Macing! |
