Software / VNC client for the Macintosh IIci
June 12, 2015, 00:43 |
Hello Folks. I am looking for a VNC client for my Macintosh IIci. My Idia is to use my Mac as a nice VNC terminal. I took a look around on the web and all I could find is this VNC_68k.sit. I found it on several places on the net and also on this site here: http://main.system7today.com/software/vnc/vnc.html The problem is that I am not able to open the file. I tried with a linux version of stuffit and I tried in Basilisk and I tried on my real Mac. No success. I am courious whats wrong and I also wanted to ask you if you can recommend another VNC viewer program that works better. I am using System 7.5.3. regards. Philipp |

New Member Welcome / Hello

Hello folks. My name is Philipp from germany. I collect and restore classic computers and so it comes that I also have a classic Mac. I am not a Mac user on a daily basis and I never was back in the days but all the time when I look at the classic macs and their operating system notice that it was way ahead of its time. However, since I never worked with Macs on a daily basis I do not have too much knowledge about the the system so I thought that I might need some help here and there ;-) btw.: Here is a video about my Macintosh IIci: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g6dje_fKpg0 regards.
