Yes, exactly. I've tested this Patch now on my 475 and this weird mess didnt appear again. So maybe, its solved. Whats your type of machine? |

It happened on a 7600, I think running MacOS 9. I think it also happened on a pb540 running MacOS 8.1. At least those are my two main non-MacOS X macs.

And what kind of Ethernet do you use? SCSI or NuBus? The thing is, the patch currently assumes 68000 code. It's probably not going to run on the PPC at all, since the offsets and signatures are likely all different there, and: it inserts 68k instructions that will probably cause more problems. Unfortunately, I don't have a PPC to check the cause over there. I didn't have such problems on the IIvx with AsanteFast (NuBus) and Open Transport. The computer ran absolutely stable at all times.
