The current issue 1/25 is ready. Currently only in German. The English issue will follow.

Does anyone know how to upload the entire thing via System 7 (68040, BlueSCSI WiFi) without going through Windows?

Wow, very cool! Some neat stuff to read over the weekend on my IIci :)

Need help with translations?

As for uploading, you should be fine uploading it to the Mac Garden using iCab 2.9.9. I've uploaded stuff there myself (using iCab and the IIci). Beware, it'll likely take some time to open pages and uploading the file, so patience is key. But it will work! :-)

Patience... oh yes.
Currently something went wrong here. I've downloaded a mov from cornica (90 mb) and after 2-9 MB, the Transfer stops...

Mostly, icab crashes at least on quit. Sometimes while opening pages. So I hope, it will work without the DOSe :)

Awesome! Downloading now and awaiting it :-) (the cold beer is next to me!)

I find iCab is much more stable if you disable JavaScript and CSS. If you haven't, please go ahead and do it. The Garden will open and work fine after that (at least for me)

I am stupid. :-) I can copy the Text to the sd card (blue scsi), Translation it on win (google) and cipy it back to Mac. Thats the easiest way. So an english issue will be available soon.

And I will Change the icab setting as you wrote. :)

Thanks for the English upload. It has been a while since I have had a new Hypercard stack to look through. I ran it up both on SheepShaver and on UTM and it worked fine. Turning on the music freezes SheepShaver after a couple minutes and well music is never a good experience with UTM/qemu.

I enjoy the adventures with SCSI, it just felt so classic MacOS. I had a long SCSI chain on my IIfx. We kept chickens mostly for eggs, but also for sacrifice on the altar to the SCSI gods. Lost a hell of a lot chickens. :)

So anyway thanks for the Mac Magazine, great stuff!

Thanks @68kmac -looking forward to reading it!

Was tempted to go for the German version when first announced :)

lol @wove I "chickened" out early :D
It would have been a pain to manually translate on my current temporary emu setup.

The German version of the latest issue 2/25, is available. The English version will follow shortly. The interview with Knezzen on the topic of HotStuff is worth mentioning. Enjoy reading, and many thanks to Knezzen for the interview.

Very nice to have a nice issue coming out! It'll be on my top to-do list when I boot the IIci the next time :-)

You really need to make more marketing for the e-zine. It's very cool to read an actual 2025 Hypercard e-zine on an actual retro Mac.

Thanks for the new issue. I fiddled around a bit wondering about emulation, then it occurred to me that I have a G4 powerbook that run Classic very well. I installed Hypercard which runs very well in Classic. Always nice to see new MacOS content, thanks.

Yeah, I agree. We need to spread the word. Every time I mention the Fanzine in the community, people are like "what fanzine?". It seems the absolute majority still hasn't heard of it, which is a bummer. This has a lot of potential.

A handful of readers is enough for me. If it gets too big, the pressure increases and the fun of creating diminishes. Plus, it's a time crunch to create more content. It's all just a pastime.
