welp yesterday we here in the thumb had a heat-wave related power-outage/power-surge and both my 520c and my 1400/166 were casualties anybody know of a mac system 7 emulator that will run well on my TiBook 1ghz running Jaguar 10.2.8?

Sounds like you had them plugged in; if so replacing their power adapters might do the trick? Most Powerbook users tend to have more than one adapter just in case of power-related issues..

Power surges (mostly tend to?) affect electronics that are not mobile, like plugged in computers, TVs and the like more than laptops and such, mainly because their adapters are able to go up to twice our U.S. voltages, up to 240 volts from our 110 voltalge in the States; granted, surges can peak much higher, toasting anything they find plugged-in, but the fail-safe there is to plug in your sensitive electronics to a surge protector, or even a UPS if you can afford it :)

As far as emulators, I don't know which ones may run on Jaguar, you can post a question over at Emaculation.com to see if they know of any that do run on that early version of Mac OS X.
