I received a Galaxy Lite from a colleague I immediately loaded Basilisk II but I couldn't get to my folders to load my files, so I enabled developer mode to copy my drive and 68k rom and it worked like a charm. Silly Android permissions wouldn't stop me from enjoying my Mac OS on it!Still, it'd be nice to fix this so it can reach normal directories, you know? If anyone has any ideas on doing this, please share at least it can be forced to work ![]() I might try disabling developer mode since I don't think I need it for anything else, unless I want to add more volumes, which I think I may also add the System 7.6.1 with HFS+ since that's my favorite System 7 version, 7.1.x Pro with all the extra system add-ons is my second favorite

While I got Basilisk II working (somewhat) on my Samsung tablet, it was not an optimal experience and anyone new to the app would likely have not bothered with it. It was a shame how it was crippled due to unavailable permissions to the app itself (and I'm sure other similar apps) which force you to jump through many hoops to get it to boot in the Mac OS at all. Due to this, it's no surprise it's no longer present in the Play Store anymore. Worse still: it works extremely well on older Android devices, including all Google Play-capable Chromebooks I installed it on (which is the majority of Chrome OS devices) but now, it's completely off limits within Chrome OS as far as I can determine. I've had several issues running Linux on Chrome OS devices, so this was a great alternative to emulating 68k Macs. Update: uploaded the latest version to its MG page and sideloaded it to a device successfully; not the easiest feat on Chrome OS and on my device startup, it warns in red letters that unsecure apps may be installed on the Chromebook, but thankfully it still runs fine
