I think that would be splendid - if two pages fit together, than the zone6400 and system 7 today :-)

Are you @MikeRichardson the admin of zone6400?

I am not the admin. I did have comments published on there a few times though.

I guess it's finally down for good now. Not that I expect it, because no one's time is free, but has it been scraped and mirrored somewhere, by any chance? Maybe archive.org itself?

Also, I never knew the Wayback Machine accepted HTTP! Great news for Mac OS browsing! :)

http was here before the same forces who dictate so much of our digital existence decided that every mama's boy's blog and each bit of tech instructions had to be secured via an encryption layer, that - until recently - had been heavily compromised anyway (and probably still is?).

I've thought of mirroring it somewhere but I don't really have access to web hosting that'll work out for it yet. If I can't get everything at least I will be able to get the important stuff. It's such a shame to see that site go but honestly I saw it coming soon, because it was practically abandoned. Can't really say the same for the MicroMac website because somehow that's still up!! Unfortunately you can't (and shouldn't) buy anything there anymore.

It looks like @joshc, who runs machut.net (visit it! It's good!) has mirrored the 6400 zone already! That's great news, it can be found here:

He's also mirroring quite a lot of other old Mac resources, definitely worth to explore :)

YES!!! What a saint!! I remember trying to set up my 6400 and upgrade it but that was also during a short amount of time when Archive.org was down, and I was getting kinda desperate! Glad to have the resource mirrored in a more reliable manner!!

Yes, I was very happy to discover that (and the other resources). I've already supplied the links to wiby.org, so hopefully a few more people will be able to find it.
