I assume most of you are familiar with the System 7 adventure Myst. The thing broke all records, eventually got ported to a zillion platforms and everyone forgot that this was initially a Hypercard based adventure game for System 7 Macs :-) Anyway, I digress. I just ran into this offer here. Apparently, there's a rather new (?) vinyl release of the Myst soundtrack by Robyn Miller, one of two brothers who created Myst: https://www.fangamer.com/products/myst-vinyl-ost (modern browser required) Now I've played Myst like 25 years ago and I don't remember the quality of the soundtrack (wasn't it more like ambient sound?) but I thought this might be interesting to those of you who liked Myst and got a Vinyl player at home :-) |

Strange, I don't remember the music in Myst, though it has been a year or two since I played it. I remember a good deal of ambient sounds and sound effects. Now I'm curious... I was about to install Myst on the Quadra 610 earlier this week, and I didn't get to it. I'll have to try it out.
