The game Triazzle convinces with gorgeous graphics, a wonderful soundtrack and intuitive game play.

Indeed it can stack up to any puzzle game you might download today for Android or iOS.

I did include this phenomenal gem along with Tessarae, Jewelbox, Diamonds, Tetris and a few others games and apps in an Mac OS 8 image that boots perfectly in BII :)

That's why I opened this thread here: ;)

By the way 68040 (and Bolkonskij for that matter too! ;)) have you played with this video player yet? I was actually able to use the Rad tools (on WIndows I think, but other platforms exist as well, IIRC) to convert some cool little 68k videos in the Smacker format :D

@cballero - Thx for smacking me over the head with that one. ;)

To be honest, I've never even heard of the "smk" video file format until now. :O

Same here. Never heard of it either. Know more and care to tell us? :-)

Wasn't Triazzle the game that shows you the solution at the beginning of a new game until you "get to work" ? I always took a screenshot of the solution and well, somehow robbed me of the fun :D

Still a Shanghai addict. Diamonds was my favorite on our LC back in '92, played it to death (and created dozens of now-gone levels).

Shanghai, yes and same!! :D

Oh! And a really simple yet addictive 'Solitaire-but-not' card game I thoroughly enjoyed was the original freeware, Seahaven Towers :)

Sooooo, Smacker I stumbled upon trying my darnest to generate a 68k-playable video with sound I believe in a modern system.. and it actually worked! The problem was that this player is the only one that reads those darn, cute video files, so I have no idea whatsoever what format they are compressed in (Smacker as the name suggests I guess? lol) so I kind of left it alone at that point. Still, a very fun little format that I was able to take a modern video and make a tiny playable version on my 68k Mac, just it needs its own player (until someone smarter than me can smack the format it's in to possibly make the playable with other video programs).

Then again, like the Real video, it may simply be its own little thing in and of itself; in that case, it should simply be enjoyed for what it is! :) btw (somewhere in) here are the Windows authoring tools radgametools.com

Perhaps it might be a good idea to upload these authoring tools to the Smacker MG page in case this one ends up gone as well like QuickPopUp did earlier this year? Just a thought.. :o

@Bolkonskij - First making screenshots and then start complaining - that's a new one. :D

To really rock Smacker content, here's a page that talks about the Smacker/Bink encoder :)

Being "forced to cheat" is a curse indeed. :D
