Nice score! I can not be of any help with games. As far as I know wireless will not work with system 7.5. With MacOS 8.1 and above a card such as an Ornico Gold (or silver) sorry for the long url, but this links to on on eBay. Ornico silver and gold card will be seen by Apple's Airport software and just work. Also you should probably check and see if your home network supports the wireless protocols and encryption abilities these cards can support. I know that my home network no longer works with the original Apple and compatible wireless cards. Ethernet of course will still work fine.

Congrats on the 520c, that's a mighty nice laptop! As for games, take a look at the S7T Gaming section for suggestions. The one for "low end Macs" should all work. My personal favorite being Shanghai <3 As for applications, it depends on what you want to do with it. Check the applications area on S7T for ideas. It should make a very nice machine for writing things and also for any typical I/O stuff like a database on something (your collection for instance)

Nice job getting on the internet with the 520c. I think no matter which OS you pick you are going to find the web a rough road, except of course with sites like one ![]() I always kind of liked System 7.1. It saw the introduction of QuickTime along with the Quadra 840AV. There was some sort of AppleTalk Pro thingie that could use TCP/IP and allow you to use the built in AppleTalk messaging system to get POP email from the internet. But at the end of the day I think 7.6.1 fits the machine best. But of course experimentation with what's possible is the big fun of having retro tech at hand. From a productivity stand point the 520c is a great solid machine. ClarisWorks 3 and HyperCard are quite powerful, You mentioned a StyleWriter printer in your first post and I thought the StyleWriter drivers were included with the MacOS. There use to be a nice sliding tile game included as a desk accessory. I had fun with that. I guess it does not take much to challenge me. Anyway have fun with it.

A (tiny) little bit of hope (maybe)? I found these links: https://github.com/antscode/MacWifi · needs modern web browser http://www.floodgap.com/retrotech/mac/enet3c589/ https://hackaday.com/2018/09/26/apples-best-computer-gets-wifi/ · needs modern web browser · this one's just a fun wifi read ![]() https://www.wired.com/2006/03/worlds-oldest-w/ · needs modern web browser · another fun read but on a Powerbook 540c, hence why I said a little hope ![]()

The vast majority of modern websites won't work on older vintage systems and javascript or HTML5 are only partially to blame. The biggest problem is the HTTPS protocol, as that security layer underwent a lot of changes during the last years. But there are vintage sites out there free of SSL or JavaScript nightmares, the problem lies in finding them. ![]() For that security hurdle there is this website claiming to allow http access to SSL protected sites.
