I came across an article on Low End Mac about an internal scsi to compact flash adapter. It fits in an internal 3.5 inch drive bay. This would be great for a PowerMac Such as the 8100 that Dan Palka is using for testing. (http://www.repco.de/english/Adapter.jpg) Here is the specifications: Supported Hardware and Operating Systems: * PC (MS-DOS, Windows (3.xx, NT 3.5 & 4.0, 95) * Apple Macintosh - Macintosh OS 7.x * UNIX (HP,SUN,DEC,IBM etc.) * industrial PC's & Real Time OSs Features: * PC-ATA card support * SRAM read and write * ROM, EPROM, FLASH, OTP read * Flash memory write/erase * EEPROM write/erase * User specific I/O card access * FORTEZZA Crypto card support * Desktop case (55x170x200 mm) * Open frame (3,5" floppy) * SCSI-2 Interface * Single PC-CARD slot for type I-III cards or Dual PC card slot for type I-III cards |

That wouldn't work. Those SCSI/IDE - PCMCIA adapters only work for storage devices.
