Just a little update about my trials and tribulations trying to get a Newer Technology Ethernet MicroDock to work... after running the Newer Technology EtherTech installer several times the Duo was still no seeing an ethernet port... but after installing the Telecom and Geoport/Express drivers found at the PowerBook Duo 2300c hardware profile page, it now works. I don't know why that is, but so be it. I'm posting this from my 2300c as well. Fun! |

I have a Unltradock SCE and now a Etherdock.. have you noticed unexplained slow speeds at all? Local lan (once i swapped my drive to a faster one) is fine, but access outside my subnet seems dead slow regardless of protocol - not jsut slow web browsing (for example ftp, hotline, etc)
