What do I need to use my PB1400 wirelessly? I have OS 7.6.1 and 64mb RAM. I currently use a dial modem, but I would like to upgrade to wireless. |

A high speed internet connection, a wireless router, and a Proxim Orinoco Gold or Lucent WaveLAN gold PCMCIA card.

Just make sure the wifi card is 16 bit. 1400's don't do 32 bit.

Well Mac OS 7.6.1 with all the updates on the "Important Updates" page... and then the WaveLAN drivers from the help center (Proxim Orinoco and Lucent WaveLAN cards are the same card). Be sure to get a properly branded card, not a third party card (like Dell) which are based on the Lucent design, but aren't identical. Another option is the 16-bit Farallon Skyline PC wireless card, drivers for which can also be found at the Help Center.
