What are some of the tricks to speed up system 7?

I have read about trimming extentions, speed doubler, ram charger, faster hard drive, G3 upgrade, maxing ram, is this all.

It would be great if all of the speed secrect was in one place on the new System 7 Today web site.

If all the small speed improvments were summed up it might make for a really fast System 7 machine, eventhough just using System 7 instead of OS 8 or 9 is a good start.

RamCharger is terrible and I 100% disrecommend it to all.

Trimming extensions doesn't really "speed" anything up other than the boot time.  It does save on RAM though... a little.

Faster processors, hard drives, and video cards are going to be addressed in the future version of the site this summer.

SpeedDoubler 8 is really the only software that actually speeds things up.

EDIT:  Also, be sure to install Motorola LibMoto from the main site, if you are using a PowerPC processor.
