Setting up a bootstrap CD for my FirstClass client and wanted to ask what other apps should be bundled on it. I currently have diskcopy, mar, and stuffit 3.57. Anything else that I should add?

The purpose of the bootstrap CD is to have a disc with all the basics one would need to use the things found on the FirstClass client?

SystemPicker (a utility for changing Boot partitions, e.g. running System 6 & 7)
DesktopMgr (extension that saves you the hassle of rebuilding your Desktop in System 6 if you run two systems on a Mac)

Yep, exactly. I added those extensions to the image... I also added OTP, but what is the internet stack for OS6?

The intended recipient would be older B/W Macs right, like Mac Classic II down right? I know the Classic II has an emergency System 6 boot disk in its ROM :)

There are a number of utilities I like on my System 7 machines, but I don't know if including them would be best since these are mostly for newer Macs :(

I was thinking like the amazing DVD-mounting utility, which would be nice in an emulated Mac vs real Mac, but my experience with earlier Mac OSes and the Mini vMac emulator is very limited :P

I'm not so much trying to create a general purpose image, just what you would need to get online and use FirstClass to download the other apps/cpanels you might want.

That's MacTCP, your most likely choice with anything below a 68030 CPU. Which is what OT requires and in terms of compact Macs only the SE/30 has.

Would be cool to include a guide in docMaker format or else on how to configure MacTCP as many will struggle (I did too). There's no auto DHCP, so you have to do it manually like in the old days. ("hm...what to put into subnet mask?")
