Ok, no big thing, but I thought I'd point it out here too. This might come in handy if you're coding for older Mac OS versions: http://macintoshgarden.org/apps/ramadillo Essentially it helps you tracking RAM usage. You can easily purge your heap through the click of a button, helpful for confirming memory leaks. Or just track whatever an application is doing with its memory. Anyway, just thought I'd mention it here. I had a brief 5 minute time with it this morning and I liked it's small footprint, high compatibility and straightforward implementation. Will put it onto my IIci. |

Fascinating addition! I'm not a developer, but I could imagine this could come in handy if an app was misbehaving somehow.

I normally use ProcessInfo for that kind of information when searching for something like a memory leak within a function. Will surely give this a try though! http://macintoshgarden.org/apps/processinfo-131
