Ran into an interesting article (guide) written by some developer for other developers looking into porting stuff to (System 7 era) Macs from "back in the day". It also features a helpful list of references.

Unfortunately, the website is long gone and requires a modern browser to access the internet archive but I thought I'd share it anyway

Just in case somebody is interested in getting some dev started :-)

Should work in an old browser if you just append the s from https in the URL. Wayback machine supports both http and https.

Easy fix for the “PowerPC Technical Library” link. Just swap out the timestamp with /1997/

Yeah was gonna mention that, noticed it from my modern 2007 Mac, that I can’t decide which one to pick, changes all the time when I hover over a Bookmark link. Meant to manually edit all the links eventually.
