My question is concerning a switch located on the battery. Should I have the red dot showing to use or slide the tab to have it not showing? I assume one way is for storage and one for using, not sure which. |

If the "switch" is anything like the switches on the Duo batteries, it does nothing electrical. Its only purpose is to allow the user to set a reminder of the state of the battery. If for instance you had two or more batteries you could decide that whenever a battery becomes discharged you would set the switch to the red dot. And after it is charged you can set the switch to cover the red dot. Then a quick glance would tell you which of your batteries were good to go and which needed to be recharged. bill
