so i picked up a original 2001 XBOX softmodded it using the end game exploit except the dvd drive is dead and i dont have a computer close enough to the thing to do a FTP file-share using FileZilla so im curious if anybod knows if there is a way for me to format a 32GB Thumb drive for the og xbox to do a file transfer of emulators/games (dont mind the 1.1 speeds have a lot to do this week in terms of going places making appointments etc.,) also it doesnt keep the time which i assume is a dead clock capacitor is there any way of removing it without a soldering gun (eyes cant see small and far away things that well so i dont want to damage traces)fyi it probably is one of the launch models as it has a manufacturing date of 10-04-01 |
