can't find a working old world rom for sheepshaver I'm running macOS Sonoma 14.0 on a 2013 Mac Pro ive tried multiple but sheep shaver just crashes Thanks, -snes1423 |

Emaculation has excellent guides for setting up both Basilisk and SheepShaver emulators including help on getting-extracting the needed ROM. This page <https://www.emaculation.com/doku.php/sheepshaver_roms> specifically has all the needed information as well as link to the file you need to download for the extraction. A google search for "redundantrobot mac rom" will also turn up relevant ROM images that do not need extracting. The guides on emaculation.com are excellent sources of information. This link provides pre-built images for both to run 9/8/7 in emulation on Mac and Windows <http://www.columbia.edu/~em36/macos9win.html>

I use a Power Mac 7300 ROM. That should run almost any version of Mac OS compatible with SheepShaver.
