Hello, greetings from everyone.

I am running OS 8.1 actually (have a Beige G3 and can't install 7.6), but I have a scanner application which needs an older version of SCSI Manager, since it conflicts with the one shipped with 8.1.

I was told I need to replace my SCSI Manager with the SCSI Manager for PPC from System 7.6.

Can anyone help?
I don't know where to find the needed files.

Thank you very much.

SCSI manager 4.3 shipped  first on the Quadra 840 with System 7.1.1. Although it eventually became a PPC extension I do not believe that it was ever upgraded.

I believe that SCSI Manager 4.3 was built into the ROM. However, you can over ride any of the ROM extensions with extensions installed in the extension folder.

What application and device are you using?
