I think this card has 2M of ram on the card itself--just to clarify this is the old AV card from what appears to be NOT a stock card, although I dont own a 6100 AV and therfore havent seen a stock card. I just need more memory in the form of something like a piggyback upgrade or something (it has a connector on the card) b |

HPV and AV are two different things. The AV card has AV inputs (obviously), but actually has much slower video acceleration than the HPV card.

Excuse my ignorance... I was just told that by the seller. My apologies. It is indeed a AV card. It has a black connector interface for something...I need more ram for this thing...or just live with 256 colors.... b

Black connector interface? It isn't an Apple AV card then. 256 colors? Does dropping the resolution give you more color options? If so, at what resolution does Thousands appear?
