2 Operating System / mac os7.6.1 menu problem
August 20, 2007, 01:44
hello, i'm new to mac's... i just got a powerbook given to me... os 7.6.1  when i got it it had lots of files on it and a few errors... i used the system restore diskette and then the os disk... it installed perfectly and is working great except for one problem... when you click on a menu... like the menu at the top....it will bring up sub menu's but they won't stay up... you click "File".. it'll show you the submenu... but as soon as you let go of the mouse button,, the menu closes... you have to keep the mouse button pushed down and keep it pulled down... go to the command you want... and when you let go of the mouse... it click's your choice.. it wasn't doing this before the restore.. i've looked all over to see how to correct this problem... any suggestions... thanks...
