Hardware / G4 and AltiVec

Hey, I'm reading the back of my box for my Newer G4 upgrade, and it says, "Mac OS 7.6 or later for G4 hardware support compatibility Mac OS 8.6 or later for AltiVec application compatibility Mac OS 9 or later for full OS & application level AltiVec support (strongly recommended)" HTH, Charles |
