Any firsthand longterm experiencies of the Kaleidoscope?

Buggy and slow - and most of the themes look pretty childish.

The childish part of it is actually a welcomed one, as the mac is for a child. But the buggy part is not (with or without horses, I might add).

I had some odd behaviour while testing it too, but could not pinpoint the culprint to be the Kaleidoscope  for sure. Or did not wanted to, as it would have been nice to have it for this mac.

Maybe I should look for something else to add a fun factor to her mac. Any suggestions?

My experiences have been quite different, although I have run it in OS 8.6 and 9.1...I haven't yet put it on my 7.6.1 machine, but hey, it's the weekend now.

I have found it to work quite well across a number of machines an OS's...I always just use the BeOS theme, since a) I like that, and b) the other themes are childish and/or ugly.

Kaleidoscope was never buggy for me. I like using the Piggy scheme. It even makes an oinking sound when you collapse a window.
