Addonics CF hdd adapter

Basically an adapter that uses cf cards instead of a hard drive.

$25.99 - that's expensive. If you search ebay, you'll find them new for $.99 to $2.99 plus shipping.

Yeah he's right Ebay ones are usually a dime a dozen.  Made with pride in China!

That would be awesome if they had one to adapt to a SCSI 2.5" HD connector, I'd love to stick one in my PB 540c....

iPods are made in China. Workers are paid in Longhua city GBP 27/month.

Well, you can actually. It should have an optional pc card bay. Just use a PCMCIA adapter for a CF card.

Yeah but I highly doubt I could boot from that. I also need the PCMCIA cage. Know anyone who has one they want to get rid of? I need it to get wireless going on it.

I can boot a pb1400 like that, without installing any drivers.

Sorry, no knowledge of parts.

cool...well if I can get my hands on a PCMCIA cage for my PB 540c I can kill 2 birds with one stone...get wirelsss in one slot and a CF adapter in the other to replace the noisy and ancient HD. I managed to track down a parts supplier that has them but they want like $56.99 for it...lame.

Yeah, that's the way to go. Creepy price, thought.
