This upgraded Power Macintosh 7600 would be a beast running 7.6.1, and I doubt it will sell for much. I've been spending way too much money on old Macs lately so I thought I'd bring it to the attention of the S7T prospectors. My first Power Mac ever was a 7600/132, back in 1996. Great machine, reliable as nails. |

I had a 7600 and was very pleased with it...it was nice having the A/V slots. I kept it until I had quirky problems with the drives, I suspected a motherboard SCSI problem. This would be my current vote for favorite auction: Umax SuperMac I have two at home. This computer looks fairly bare. But, with 6 PCI slots (you have to put up with some quirks), plenty of room inside, and a standard ATX case (and power supply, which I have already replaced), these are great machines, especially if you already have all the parts, a G3 processor, and some RAM. These came standard with a TwinTurbo video card, great for 2d video, by the way. System 7.6 would run great on this... I hope I got the BBCode right...
