I have been working at getting a PB3400 in fine shape. I have one working with 7.6.1 in excellent condition. I even found a battery with operates the 3400 for over an hour and a half. I am itching to trying wireless networking on it, but have ran into some problems. I picked up a WaveLan Bronze card. The software available on System7Today installs but does not drive the card. I get an error saying there are "incompatibilites". The readme file included with the software indicates that firmware version 4 is needed for the card to work. I also understand that the Version 4 of the WaveLan software will work with all versions of firmware on the card. So anyway does anyone have a link to a firmware updater for the WaveLan Bronze card, or Version 4 or earlier of the WaveLan software. bill |

I might have it a bit inconspicuous, but on the wireless sharing with OS X page it says: Quote Do not use Bronze cards Maybe I should put this somewhere more obvious.
