I get a Color Laserwriter 12/660 in garage sale. I want to startup to use in my home network. Oil fuser is missing, but I buy in eBay a replacement and wait for delivery. I was looking for OEM software (CD-Rom?) to install it. Does any know how to get a copy for this? System 7.6 have the necesary extensions and program to use it? Any suggestion are welcome. Regards |

I have a Color LaserWriter 12/660 myself and it gets used most everyday. Very solid printer, but very heavy. I think I do have the CD that came with the Color LaserWriter, but I will need to check. The version of the LaserWriter software that comes with System 7.6 has all the necessary components to print to the LW 12/660. But you may wish to up date to the latest version of the LaserWriter software available here . The software on CD contains copies of the built in fonts that can be installed on computer and has nothing that is really essential to the operation of the Color LaserWriter. It is a nice printer, have fun with it. bill
