Somehow I stumbled upon a free dial up provider, Great Dial Up, that has the following features:
I verified all the above to be true tonight on my PowerBook Duo. Pretty sweet! Hopefully they don't go out of business or anything. I encourage people to try it (it takes all of ten seconds to register - you don't even need to give them an email address or verify yourself in any way) and post in this thread see how it works out for you. |

freewwweb.net or something did this very thing, they went under. If it uses no extra software, i'd gladly pay $5 per month.

Well this place kind of did go under. It took me a while to find since they still have their old 800 number on their home page, but they lost their 800 number and have a non toll free number up, so unless you are in the same area as Great Dial-up it's not free anymore. (And if you read the help posts people aren't getting any responses or new news from Great Dial-up so it looks like the end for them.

If you are Interest, Juno (NetZero Since bought out) Offers free access, and even though they dont advertise it, one you create an account, you can login with pretty much anything that supports ppp. Belive me. I know
