Its really aggravating to use the WaveLAN utility when it doesnt support scanning of the WiFi networks. It just seems so afterthought, so clunky that I'd rather use my ethernet card instead most of the time. In order to be satisfied with WiFi, I have to be running 8.6, which isnt bad on a 240Mhz CPU (about to be overclocked), but isnt very enjoyable for a 180Mhz.

Is this a question?

I believe the Farallon software is better.  You need a Farallon card to use it though.  I'll have to get one of those Skyline cards to find out.

Kinda, I think its more of a thought/question hybrid

I was wondering if there was a better software for my card, but on the surface it just seemed like I was complaining about the WaveLAN software. I suppose Farallon cards are better then?

Something like iStumbler that would help sniff out the Wi-Fi networks ... but which works under 7.6.1.
