Are there any schematics of this board available or any new drop in replacement, as my powerbook didn't come with one and i have a feeling i will have to break out vga from MINI-15, making it headless powerbook. We don't have any original boards on sale due to pre intel macs being quite rare. |

Welcome to the forums, Blazer1878! ![]() All I could locate for you was a service manual for the 2nd-gen 68k Powerbooks which does offer a nice breakdown of these Powerbooks and even shows a little of the daughterboard; this one was one of the first two Powerbooks that Apple brought out with color displays that could display 256, 8 bit color! ![]() The VGA from Mini-15, also referred to as a Micro DB-15 cable, is a good way to use it, but hopefully you manage to fix it if you get the right info on its board, good luck and hopefully someone else here can chime in on it as well!

I managed to find pinout on offical apple manual http://www.applerepairmanuals.com/the_manuals_are_in_here/Ports_Pinouts.pdf but i still don't have any idea on how to make internal screen work because apparently old lcds require additional power or something, i simply thought of putting in led and calling it a day but that probably is mot a case
