Due to the acquisition of a Mac Mini, I am looking to part with my 7200/90.  It has 136MB RAM, the optional 256K L2 Cache module, the original CD-ROM and 850MB HD, an ATi Rage 128 Video card, a Motorola ModemSURFR 28.8 external modem, a recent PRAM battery, plus the keyboard, mouse, and appropriate cabling.  The system is clean, functions perfectly, and looks great.

Assuming I sell it with freeware System 7.5.5 preinstalled, what would be a fair price to ask?

Why not just keep it?

Considering I've spent good money upgrading and maintaining the 7200, I'd keep it around, but I don't have the desk space for three computer systems.  I just hate to see a perfectly good Mac sit idle.  Surely someone else could put it back into productive use.

I figured it would be worth about $20 or so...it's hard to compare this Mac with the typical useless, bone-stock 8MB 7200/90 you find on eBay.

Your best bet though may be to give it to someone you know that for sure will use it, or try asking for $35 and see if anyone buys it.

Thanks, everyone, for the insights.  I think I'll just get a cheap and compact corner desk and tuck this system into an alcove in my kitchen...
