I have a particular (peculiar?) bad mental habit.

You are not alone with that mental quirk. I am generally excessively organized. I know where everything is, except when it is not there. And then as you note, “It might as well be invisible.” And it could be keys, or glasses, or a file on the machine.

Perhaps it is such frustrations that remind us that we really do need to try harder. Of course I do, but it is generally to no avail.

Added my "utility linking scripts" to the "Retro68 built with TigerBrew" MG page.

These reference SDL2 because I was working hot and heavy on it using them, but that part can be removed and they could be used for general Retro68 development.

The utility scripts also work with Linux and so are useful for general Retro68, and not just on Tiger (Need to comment or uncomment parts).

xcoff2carb.sh: Takes an xcoff and creates a PPC Carbon application.
xcoff2app.sh: Takes an xcoff and creates a standard PPC application.
makeapp.sh: This builds a MacOS X style .app package for PPC Carbon (experimental).
bin2app.sh: Takes an CODE resource and creates an m68k application. (Not on Tiger).
