Fellow System 7 users,

looking for a 68k / 7.1 compatible utility / DA of some sort that let's me enter dates and then will "remind" me a certain period before that date being reached. We're talking about 50-100 entries a year and it should run reasonably on a 68030 IIci. Ideally, I wouldn't have to extra launch anything but it'd simply pop up with a small message on startup.

There's lots of such programs out there, alas the trouble is I'm looking for something small, single-purpose and 7.1 compatible. (read - not some conflicts causing extension)

I very much welcome your experience and recommendations. Any suggestions for me to try? Anyone using something like this on their (68k) Mac?

My mind goes straight to Tiny Elephant, but I'm not sure if it fits your particular use case. Otherwise ClockWork or SmartAlarms might do what you need.

If they don't meet Bolkonskij's needs, I'm definitely going to check them out! Thanks Knezzen and Bolkonskij. 😃
