I am thinking about that. If it doesn't work, then what is the supported email provider? |

I am not sure I understand what you are looking to do. The email client "Outlook" did not appear on the Mac until well after OS X arrived. So it would not be possible to use "Outlook" on a classic Mac. xyz@outlook.com is an email address provided by Microsoft as part of their cloud services. I am not sure there would be any way to use an @outlook email address with a classic Mac machine/OS. The protocols used by that email service would be to new to be accessed with an older email client from the 80s/90s. As far as I know though there is no specific OS requirement to create and use Outlook services, so you can use Outlook services from Windows/Mac/BSD/Linux as long as your system is new enough to work with the protocols used by Outlook services.

Youll need Gmail and even then you need Netscape 4.8 or similar and ssltunnel configured on a unix machine like Linux or macOS i just use my Pismo or iMac G3 for the most part with those types of things running classilla with app passwords stored in a text-file on a thumb drive trust me ive been down the rabbit hole looking for email providers that even support iMap these days yet alone with ancient email clients and even google is slowly etching out support for instance my old school email from when i was 17 no longer works as its corporate as of last month
