I managed to get virtual pc with '95 on my 9500 with 7.6.1 when it said it only was for native G3 machines. I wish I had the '95 serial number. lol |

Virtual PC 3 will run under Mac OS 7.6.1 A G3 processor is "recommended" for Windows operation... however there is no actual way for Windows installed through Virtual PC to detect what kind of PowerPC processor you have, since Virtual PC pretends to be the same processor on every machine (I believe a Pentium II).

Yeah, it says For G3 on the CD, but in the manual that came with VPC 3 it gives this as the system requirements: PC-DOS: PowerPC 601/603/603e/604/604e/G3 at 100 MHz or faster, 7.5.5 or later. Windows 95: PowerPC 603/603e/604/604e/G3 at 180 MHz or faster, 7.5.5 or later. Windows 98: Any G3, 8.0 or later (9.0 or later for USB).

Hi, I'm using Virtual PC 2.0 on a Powerbook Duo 2300c with Mac OS 7.6.1 installed. But when I run Windows 3.11 on it, the mouse behaves somehow strange (I move the mouse, and the cursor goes as if the desktop was made of rubber - sometimes it even jumps to the other end of the screen...). Working is not really possible... Does anybody have an idea? Thanks, Demyan
