You can use it e.g. to check the files you've downloaded from the Mac Garden against this tool to compare the MD5 checksum with the one on the Garden page. That way you can rule out broken downloads. Just tested it on my IIci running 7.1. It's swift, neat and does what it should. I like it and will keep. |

For PPC users on System 7, this app is 6.5 times faster than the only other existing solution.  The other solution is Checksum 1.3. For the time being, it still has some use for 68k users, but that is evolving really rapidly and might perhaps just change soon.
