I have just installed one of my Newer tech upgrades into my 9500. I chose the G3 275 first which worked fine but would not show up in the system profiler. I then went to the G3-500 and the maxpwr 2.05 installer and it is recognized by the system profiler. This thing is obnoxiously fast. After dinner i am going to throw 256 mb of ram in taking it from 184. I know there is no alti-vec but i dont have photo shop and am not really sure if 7.6 can rip cd's, but for all apps i am running it literally flys off of the counter top. Word 5.1a, live picture 2.6, freehand 8 etc. I will keep experimenting and see where all the limits are. |

I installed the ram, it is actually at 384, which I doubt I will actually ever use all that, but it is there if I need it. start up is a little slower because of the ram check but it fired right up. With the twin turbo card in place I am ready to clear the hard drive and start all over with just the aoos I will probably use. Then to hook it to the dsl connection and spin on the web.
