I'm using a 14 inch CRT monitor. It was my first monitor, so I like to use it on my '90s Macs :)

I purchased a Quadra 840 used and it came with a 17" Apple multi sync monitor. I was very nice monitor and I used it up until LCD panels became the norm and cheap in the mid oughts. The 17" multi sync was very nice, but like most old 90s monitors they are all probably dead by now. I imagine they are also hard and expensive to ship, but they are a very nice monitor.

I'm using a Samsung 17" SyncMaster 710v TFT with my IIci and 7500. The first running at 640x480 (naturally) and the later at 832x624. I do really like lower resolutions on Mac OS. I feel it allows me to better focus on the one task at hand.

I usually stare at an Apple Multiple Scan (17") or Macintosh Color Display (14").
The CRTs are great in permanent setups, but their size makes them inconvenient for ad-hoc temporary test setups.
I have a few other options for less used scenarios or VGA requiring machines.D

I'd actually really like to get a smaller 15" or 17" CRT to go with my setup. Unfortunately, next to all seem to have either ended up at the local recycling center and the few others are in collectors hands.

But things look and feel differently on a (good) CRT monitor compared to TFT monitor.

I completely agree. The lower resolutions are easier to see stuff with.

Yeah I really like my 14" Samtron CRT. You're right about the look and feel of CRTs. They're just brighter IMO. Plus I love to relive the '90s as much as I can haha :P

I use a really nice Eizo FlexScan S1703ST monitor with 1280x1024 resolution. Awesome "high res" for 7.6.1.

I am emulating a 1480 x 920 monitor with 24 color bit depth on a 14.6" Samsung Super AMOLED display.

I do find that System 7.6 looks and feels nicer on a 1280X display. SheepShaver does that resolution, but I end up with a postage stamp size screen in the middle of my Retna display. QEMU however does a nice job of filling the screen with a 1280X resolution. I do find that to be easiest on my old eyes on a 16" display panel.

@68040 What's the name of the display? The only pure-RGB non-RGBG Samsung Super AMOLED displays I know of are the original PSVita and very specific Samsung cellphones and tablets.

Years ago, I searched very high and low for all kinds of RGB OLED monitors, and found none more by Samsung.

My PowerComputing clone is connected to a lovely 19" Dell "Genesis" LCD.  I use a 17" Samsung Syncmaster 710n with the Quadra 610.

I just pulled a 17" Apple Studio Display CRT out of storage along with a PowerMac G4 for some Marchintosh shenanigans.

On my Quicksilver when I use Mac OS 9.2.2, I use the original 23" Cinema HD Display.

I did have the 19inch Apple crt on my 6400. I sold that though as it was too big in my tiny home office / come hobby room. Good screen though, something about CRT images I like.  I always wanted the radius monitors tilted into portrait. I used them at college. Amazing experience back in the 1990s especially as they had 2 connected to a IIFX.  Out of this world.
