Nice new adapter solution! If you want to use a modern USB keyboard on your vintage mac, an American company (?) called Rabbit Hole Computing seems to have an easy-to-use peripheral for moderately priced $29.99. While I personally have enough ADB keyboards and mice lying around that are good, this will be welcomed by some people I'm sure. More info & order here (modern browser needed) |

Yes! Very nice, thanks Bolkonskij!! ![]() Wait, is it like this bi-directional (according to the website) Wombat USB-to-ADB adapter going for 40 bucks? (modern link) https://shop.bigmessowires.com/collections/usb-wombat-adb-usb-converter

Yes, a very interesting site. Noting they have several projects that may be of interest to S7T (modern browser needed). • ATX PSU adapter - for Macintosh LC/LC II/LC III/LC 475 • Various SCSI to SD solutions • PS2ADB - PS/2 Keyboard & Mouse to Macintosh ADB Adapter • And likely other interesting items - rabbitholecomputing

I’ve seen these, they’ve been around for a while. Bmow was selling these when I brought my Rominator 5-6 years ago. Not tried it though as I like using the retro keyboards but I can see it being a useful addition as it isn’t expensive and with retro gear including keyboards going up in price I can see it being more a requirement in the future.
