Hi everyone! Just wanted to let you know that after a long break I had the chance to improve some of the existing features and add new ones.

Since my last post you can now:
 - Browse the main headlines (introduced with release 0.4, improved with following releases)
 - On a best-effort basic, use navigation links in webpages (release 0.4)
 - Self host the app with more configuration and improved stability (release 0.6)
 - Check out the latest football scores from the main championships (release 0.6)

Thank you for using retrosearch and to Bolkonskij for their continued support and suggestions!

That's wonderful news, Garambo! :D

I like both your search engine and Frog Find, as well as the Wikipedia program to search for and locate real-time web info! :)

Excellent work, really! I sure love the football results ;-)

(btw, how many hours does it take them to update? I only see yesterday's game results, even though today's matches ended like 3-4 hours ago?)

Thank you so much for all your feedback!
I will definitely add more features in the future and improve the existing ones (like a more fine-grained news and sports results!)

Edit: @Bolkonskij - scores are updated every 30 minutes, the API I'm using at the moment, however, provides only delayed scores with its free tier :)

Ok if you want a suggestion. As a uk person maybe news or sports or even search results could be region selectable rather than just USA.
It’s hardly difficult though as I can just search uk news so it’s not a complaint a possible upgrade in the further. I’m still utterly impressed that you even set it up :)

Thank you for your suggestion Neal! I am actively working on this (for news) - might have something for you in the next few days! :)
If you want to follow the development, I have a PR open on GitHub: https://github.com/garamb1/retrosearch/pull/17

I just realized I never said anything here before. Thanks @garambo for this site! It's really useful, and it's saving my rear end to quickly check some C++ stuff as I take some baby steps in C++ development.
