I got a Macintosh Colour Classic with a broken motherboard from a friend. Looking to resurrect it, so I'm searching for a motherboard as the title specifies. Only working motherboards are of interest ![]() Hit me up! |

Just to add, if your Color Classic will take a logic board from a 575, then it would also take a logic board from a 630 series Mac (630, 631, etc). However, a so-called "Takky" CC Upgrade would be required. Actually, 63xx, 64xx, 65xx too... but a 575 mobo "Mystic" CC Upgrade would be simpler. Gleened from the "The Macintosh Colo(u)r Classic FAQ"

I know the color classic was a bit of a dud machine in many ways. Under powered with re-hashed components but I loved it and that 10inch Sony screen was simply spectacular, and crisp. Is a well thought out, nice to use little machine. Like MTT said loads of options as the board just slides out. They did a color classic II with a 33mhz processor. Mine was the original 16mhz model though
