Got around to testing Claris Brush Strokes and found it really light on the system, quick to comprehend and totally satisfying for those simpler paint jobs we all might come across here and there.

I must admit I had never come across this one before. But there are what feels like a myriad of different paint programs out there from the late '80s and early 90's. It used to be such a lively competition.

So I take it's a program for pixeling bitmap graphics?

I just checked for it on the Garden because I wanted to try it out. Surprisingly it isn't there? Does preterhuman have it?

@68040

I've been looking for something exactly like this, thanks!

If I may kindly submit... found it at Mac Repository.

@Johnny7, most stuff on Macintosh Repository is stolen from Macintosh Garden, just FYI. But everyone is free to use and link to whatever resource they want of course.

Here's the original file from Macintosh Garden:

@Knezzen

Apologies... I wondered if I was being blasphemous linking to MR 🙁
Never cared for 'em anyway 'cause of their download restrictions and I refuse to register an account with them.

Thanks for the Macintosh Garden link! 😃

Yeah, MR is a bad source ... It angers me to see how this guy took all the stuff I've created for the Mac Garden community and is now making money off it. Man, the hours I had spent imaging software, scanning manuals, taking screenshots / packshots, writing descriptions ...

I don't think anyone deep in the Macintosh community respects the Macintosh Suppository. But then I assume he's just out for the Google search users looking for some nostalgia. They won't mind paying his "mandatory donation" (my provider calls this a "flatrate")

Aha, I now see why nothing turned up in search on Garden! I searched for "Claris Brush Strokes" instead, which turns up nothing. Thanks for the link!

@Bolkonskij

Mega Thanks to you and everyone on your team for all you do here at S7T and the Macintosh Garden! "writing descriptions" is just one of the great things about MG!

On testing software:

Just got around to trying out PhotoCat, GraphicBrowser and some other image catalog tools.

Despite some of them having appealing GUIs I am bewildered how many lack essentials that e.g. Extensis's Portfolio seamslessly integrates:
Drag'n Drop, sub-directory scanning, Export/Import a.s.o.

It seems to have taken developers a looong time to acknowledge that such functions are required for a successful multimedia catalog application.
