We don't have a webcam thread on here yet, it's about time! :-) Knezzen and me were chatting on Hotline today about how awesome it'd be to have a webcam connecting up to our 8600s and do some web conferencing 90's style. Or offering a streaming webcam for the joy of it. Like S7T original admin Dan Palka had a webcam of his basement up on the S7T Stripcam page for many years, which was a fun idea! Anyone got a webcam for System 7? Does anyone know any models to look for besides the ever-famous Connectix QuickCam? Anyone used a webcam with their System 7 Mac ever? |

interesting. no not on system 7. never seen a webcam for one.

There was the Apple QuickTime Conferencing Kit which had a rather chunky webcam. I think that camera required a Mac with A/V input capabilities though.

Wouldn’t it just 1-bit pixelization on video, everyone would look like those criminals on police shows with the pixelated faces lol 😂 I want the webcam now

hahaha  Yeah, it'd certainly would be cool to ge to know more models so we could widen our search. Contemporary Mac magazines should have at least once offered a market overview? I need to check my magazine shelf
