Quote from: Storyline Today is April 19, 1907. You, Emilia Vittorini, arrived yesterday in Varenna, on the shore of the beautiful Lake Como. You are hosted at the magnificent Villa Briccorosso; Princess Lucilla Briccorosso is preparing the Silk Road Race, a 10,000km rally raid between Cairo in Egypt and Peking in China, to be done by car. You represent ITA, founded by your father, the company that built the car the Princess just bought to use during the rally. The car is supposed to be delivered today. Your role will be to assist the delivery and make sure everything is perfectly functional. Release date is October 3rd, 2022, price for the boxed version filled up with goodies is 27€ + shipping. Game comes on both a 3,5" floppy disk AND a microSD card for emulation users. Manual, posters, stickers and a compass (huh?) included. Davide's games usually have a moderate difficulty and are well written, so you can finish them even without a walkthrough if you use your brain. (unlike certain 80's Infocom titles ...) Anyone else in?

I've played the second part in the trilogy ("The Queen's Footsteps") and it played very well on my Mac SE. Took me right back into the 80's! Prior knowledge of the other parts in the trilogy are not needed. But I think the Queen's Footsteps boxed version is still available in that shop too. So if you don't own it yet, you might consider getting both and stock up for some fun classic adventure evenings during the chilly dark season P.S. Born in New York, lived, traveled and worked in Europe, throughout the Americas, Africa and other regions, dad's from Europe and mom is part European and part Latin American, so I speak four languages including French and some German. So yeah, this became a loaded question! lol I've also lived and traveled through many states across the U.S., even Hawaii! so you could really say I'm global! lol

But all I found was positive user feedback, so I decided to give it a go. In the end, while it took a long time, we got a very polished and nice product, didn't we? A new boxed Mac release with goodies in 2021 was just awesome. Also this time the release date is specific (3rd of October), so I'm crossing fingers! Really looking forward to getting my copy. It's been some month since I last played an interactive fiction game and it seems like the perfect winter combo. (as I, plus a few others, have said before, Mac OS 8 is more like System 7.7 anyway, so it still applies, lol)

Unfortunately both my beige ppc units are disconnected at the moment so I’ve not tried it but it sounds an interesting beta version. I could really do with formatting my 6200 and reverting it to 7.6.1 - 8.1. It Currently has 8.6 on it which slows it down to much. Would have been an ideal tool for testing this mystical 7.7 out on.
