Wait!!  Could it be a cool iTunes-like music player of some kind that works similar to MPEG-DEC and can also play those old-school online radio stations.. all on a fast 68k Mac or 68k Mac emulator?

Haha.. I wasn't gonna say it, but its, name! lol that type of tech though is really cool and actually can have many, many good uses

Aeehm, the Navy used to hang pirates by their thumbs from the highest mast. Not sure about the RIAA, but I guess they are not too far behind. 🙄

Yoooo, I look forward to this. I have a large number of mp3s to add for sure if this is indeed a Napster-like service

Still in development, given Knezzen soon has some free time there might be an update. And I agree, would be totally awesome to share some mp3s with you while sitting on my 8600 in System 7 and discovering the favorites of others :-)

I'm still having issues with the MP3 encoding process on the client side. Need to sort it and after that, it's ready for release! Will probably be something for the autumn

It has been a while, but Knezzen finally pushed out a 1.0 for SoundPirate! You can now download it from the Macintosh Garden. I'm posting this on his behalf since he was too tried after releasing it ;-) So grab it and give it a test ride please. It's all new 2024 software for System 7 (and above) Macs! :-)
